Google Earth Street View

Google Earth is a free application developed by Google that lets you view the Earth as a virtual globe and as a map. Google Earth is a very popular utility that has a myriad of features including the option of viewing and navigating street-level imagery just like you do in Google Maps. Here's how you can use Street View in Google Earth:

  • Zoom into an area at an altitude of circa 500km.
  • Click and drag the pegman icon across the 3D viewer. A blue border will appear around roads that have street-level imagery available.
  • Drop the pegman on a road with the blue border and you will enter Street View.
